Forget Perfection. Embrace the Slumerville Success.
Once upon a time, Winter Hill didn’t care about “perfection,” and neither do we. We deal in the real, the stupid, and the historic grit of Somerville. Whether you’re chasing the ghosts of the mob or just a Boston Celtics win, pull up a chair. Success here isn’t a result of perfection it’s about surviving the neighborhood.

AUTHOR BIO
I grew up in the streets, schools, playgrounds, railroad tracks, and about “18 years later,” the taverns of Somerville.
My father died when I was about 4 … and my mother lived on Cross St, downstairs from my grandmother, grandfather, and one of my five Uncles. My grandparents and a great-grandparent being from Gaeta, Italy.
THE SLUMERVILLE CHRONICLES
A Place In Time (Really)…
Take a deep dive into the paradoxical heart of Winter Hill. This isn’t your standard historical recount; it’s a journey through a Somerville where the Mafia myths are thick, the street smarts are mandatory, and the stories are so stupid they have to be true.
In A Place In Time, we peel back the layers of Boston’s most notorious neighborhood. From the shadows of the mob era to the roar of the crowd watching the Boston Celtics, this book captures the essence of a city in transition. It’s a formal tribute to a silly reality a literary chalk outline of a time that shaped us all.
If you’ve ever wanted to know what really happened before the gentrification set in, or why we still call it “Slumerville” with a sense of pride, this is the only record you’ll ever need. It’s fiction, even though it’s true.

HEARD ON THE HILL
What the Locals Are Leaking
I thought I knew everything about Winter Hill, but this brand captures that specific ‘Slumerville’ energy perfectly. It’s the right mix of historic grit and the kind of ‘stupid’ humor only a true Boston native could appreciate. Finally, gear that doesn’t feel like it’s for tourists.
Mike D., Somerville Resident
Reading the book felt like sitting in a dive bar in 1982. The way it weaves the Mafia lore with local culture and even the Boston Celtics is brilliant. It’s fiction that feels truer than the evening news. A must-have for anyone who misses the old neighborhood.
Sarah L., Greater Boston Historian
Finally, a brand that embraces the contradiction. It’s formal, it’s silly, and it’s 100% authentic. The quality of the apparel is top-tier, but the story behind SomerVillians is what really drives it home. Proud to wear the Slumerville name.
